"zara" was a bold exploration of mine to express the junction of emotion and form, marking a departure from strict realism to expressive abstraction and messy stroke work. being one of my first art adventures using oil paints, this painting radiates an intense gaze formed by a balance of light and shadow. "zara" is not just a portrait of a young girl, but is a journey towards identity, experimentation, and exploration of an art style beyond the restrictions of realism.
