"little daphne" was born out of my fascination with women portraits. scrolling through pinterest, i found my self glued on pictures of women looking at different angles, wearing all the colours of the rainbow. at that moment, i knew that i had to paint them on canvas. "little daphne" looks down with a peaceful expression on her face, cheeks vivid with rouge. she wears a top of velvet orange, and she ponders thoughts in her head not meant for the world to hear or see.
