i was inspired to paint "linen in the summer sun" after watching studio ghibli's howl's moving castle. there is just something about the gentle, dreamlike atmosphere and vibrant colours found in the studio's movie that after watching, i was enticed to paint a small scene incorporating soothing and vivid imagery. over this quiet, brilliant blue windowsill, sunlight pours, drying the delicate linen that sways gently over the potted flowers.   

each painting will come with a certificate of authenticity, a hand written letter, as well as a gift of appreciation.
