"horizon meets the sea."

"horizon meets the sea" was a way for me to explore art mediums other then oil on canvas. i took this as an opportunity to embrace the fluidity and freeing feeling of watercolors. but my favourite part of this painting is how it installs a sense of curiosity within the observer. many questions come to mind; where is the boat coming from? where does it desire to go? who is sailing the boat? who is watching from the window? is the sailor looking back? what are the secrets that are scratched onto the walls of the bright room?
