"a lake up north."

"a lake up north" is inspired by the countless journeys of mine towards the canadian pacific coast -- a land of innumerous lakes and towering mountains. the rockies, for some unknown reason, has always been my safe place, my sanctuary. whenever i am feeling lesser and disconnected with my inner artist, i find myself thinking back to this place. i imagine myself swimming in the lakes once more, the water washing away any unwanted impurities. i think of walking the endless trails and climbing up the vast mountain tops, looking down the valleys and forests as if the trees are my subjects and i am their queen, sitting on a throne of rock and flora.   

each painting will come with a certificate of authenticity, a hand written letter, as well as a gift of appreciation.
